Sign campaign?

I am posting this for Carol and Kevin Hartnett, who sent me a message through the blog:

We live on the course and unfortunately we were out of town for the most recent meeting. We would make ourselves available to help in any way. Also we were thinking that a sign campaign would help to spread the word. Signs could be hung on fences backing the houses on the course and also for those who would be willing to put them in their front yards. The signs could have website info and statement about how this is already impacting the youth in our community ie: Aqua Bears, High School golf programs and youth academy and tournaments. As well as, a statement about the likely neglect and deterioration of the landscape to come.
Thank you for organizing and facilitating this site.
Best,
Carol and Kevin Hartnett

I don’t live on the golf course, I don’t have anyone involved in aquabears and I don’t even golf. With that said, I believe this is a fight for EVERYONE that lives in San Ramon. It affects all of us……and if you don’t think so, think again.
I’m willing to post a sign on my lawn.

Are there any more meetings scheduled to organize something like this?

The first meeting was about a week ago. You can check out the other threads for future meetings and info.

There is a helicopter circling the course today and yesterday afternoon. I’m sure it has something to do with scouting out where to build homes.

We too were out of town when the first meeting was held. We live on the 4th hole and are very interested in helping with “Stay the course “. We think that sign posting is a great idea. Our back fence and front lawn, facing Broadmoor Dr. is available for posting. I play the course and our grandsons are Aqua Bears. We will help in any way possible to save SRGC.

I have lived in San Ramon for about 40 years.
When you live in a developed area you don’t expect any new homes being built. I don’t live that close to the golf course, but like to see some space that is not homes.
Also my grandkids swim for Augua Bears and have for about 10 years. It upsets me that somebody would just close the pool and not think about the kids he hurt. It just shows you what to expect in the future from him. I want the space to stay a usable golf course.
