Background on the San Ramon Golf Course matter

One of our local residents, Geoff Ho, pointed out to me that a couple of the links on the “About” page are not working, so I fixed them. This would be a good time to remind everyone that the articles about the new owner of the San Ramon Golf Course are definitely worth reading.

The current owner of the golf course, a Beverly Hills developer, purchased the property at the end of last year for a price that was $4 million above the seller’s asking price. He has a documented history of buying golf courses, then closing them and allowing them to deteriorate in order to force the local planning commissions and city councils to rezone to allow him to build homes on the open space.

By staying aware and united as a community, we can stop this attempt to ruin our neighborhoods for personal gain.

Keep up the good work in publicizing the events pertaining to the SR golf course.

I read about what this developer did in Escondido. He bought a perfectly good golf course and spread chicken manure all over it to make it smell bad because they would not let him build homes there. We need to stay United against this guy!
